The flexible circuit board is a highly reliable and excellent flexible printed circuit board made of polyimide or mylar film. Referred to as soft board or FPC, it has the characteristics of high wiring density, light weight and thin thickness.
To make a good quality FPC board must have a complete and reasonable production process, from pre-production to final shipment, each procedure must be strictly implemented. In the production process, in order to prevent the opening and short circuit, the yield is too low or reduce the problems of drilling, rolling, cutting and other craft problems caused by the scrapping, feeding, and evaluation of how to select the material to achieve the best performance flexible circuit board for customers. Prenatal pretreatment is especially important.
There are three aspects to be pre-treated all of which are done by engineers. The first is the FPC board engineering evaluation, which is mainly to evaluate whether the customer's FPC board can be produced. Whether the company's production capacity can meet the customer's board requirements and unit cost; if the project evaluation is passed, the next step is to prepare the materials immediately to meet the production raw material supply, finally, the engineer: the customer's CAD structure drawing, GERBER line data and other engineering documents are processed to suit the production environment and production specifications of the production equipment, and then the production drawings and MI (engineering process card) and other materials are released to the production departments, document control, procurement and other departments enter the regular production process.
FPC characteristics
1. Short: The assembly time is short and all the lines are configured. Eliminate the connection work of redundant cables

3. Light: The weight is lighter than the PCB hard board, which can reduce the weight of the final product.
